Like all martial arts, etiquette is an important way to ensure safe and effective practice for all participants. Learning the etiquette is a part of training, but please read our etiquette section before coming to class.
In Aikido we use Japanese terminology for techniques, forms, attacks, and stances. If you already speak Japanese, you should find these terms very easy to understand, but if you don't, check out our glossary for some translations.
